The World Oyama Karate, White Plains Dojo will be joining other area dojos on Saturday, June 30, for Beach Training, at Sherwood Island State Park in Westport,CT.
Training will begin at 10:30 AM at the West Beach Picnic Area.
Please note: There will be no classes in the White Plains dojo on Saturday, June 30.
Student of all ages and ranks are invited to participate at beach training. Friends and family of all ages are welcome to join us.
Sherwood Island Park has picnic tables and grilling facilities for those who will be bringing lunch, as well as changing and shower facilities.
Those who are interested in car-pooling, please sign up at the dojo.
There is a $22 per car parking fee at the park for out of state visitors.

| From I-95 north and south: Take Exit 18 to access the Sherwood Island Connector. Follow the Connector directly into the park.
From Route 1 north and south: take the Sherwood Island Connector in Westport. Proceed past the I-95 entrance/exit ramps directly into the park. |

| From Route 15 northbound: Take Exit 41 and proceed south on Route 33 to Route 1. Follow Route 1 north to the Sherwood Island Connector in Westport.
From Route 15 southbound: Take Exit 42 and follow Route 57 south. Go left onto Route 33. Proceed south on Route 33 to Route 1. Follow Route 1 north to the Sherwood Island Connector in Westport. |
